Dulling paint - surface swirls/scratches - which products?

Hi - as the title says, the paint on my car has dulling paint, surface swirls and what looks like slight scratches in the laquer if u know what I mean from the previous owner using car washes I expect - what products should I use to really get it in as best condition as possible?

P21S paint cleaner will bring the depth back to the paint but wont remove swirl marks

It sounds like it needs polishing by machine, tbh you'll be hard pressed to remove swirl marks by hand... I think theyre about £150 to buy or a body shop will do it for half that

Cheers Justin - is that a Meguiars product? I'm planning on having my front end resprayed soon so may get the bodyshop to do the polishing whilst its in there.

The new Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine Polish is supposed to be good for swirls on darker paint, etc.

yeah got to agree with Rich there- it is pretty good at masking swirl marks on dark colours, but that P21S does definitely give a really deep shine to paintwork- i was impressed with it at the weekend....

a good mop and polish from a body shop or even one of those smart repair people, they can even come round your house or work and do it there. I'd look up one of them out the yellow pages if iwas u.
