MrBen 0
Try cleaning the sensor / checking the wiring is intact before shelling out for a new one.
antera309 3
The front ones are great fun to get out. When I did mine, it took 2 hours, mole grips, several big screwdrivers and a slide hammer and finally came out in about 50 pieces...

antera309 3
They just get rusted in. Getting them out is a matter of brute force. Slide hammer works well.
Big P 1
If they are the same as a mk2 g60 one then i belive they are designed to be used the once and not re ussed after which is why you have to rip them apart to get them out, had to do both front ones on my old g60,
stuey 0
Hi, when me and my mate changed my OSR sensor, the head just turned off the bolt. Had to take the stub axle off to drill and retap the hole, think it was M10. The hardest bit was removing the caliper bracket bolts that wouldn't budge even with an air wrench (thanks C&R). The sensor doesn't just slide back in either. If you are near a decent VW place, i would enquire for a price to do, it isn't that easy
