ROCKIN ROBBIE 0
I've just been reading the thread about coilcovers and wondered whether they also improve ride or handling?. I'm running a vr6 highline on audi wheels its been dropped by 20mm.
purple highline monster 0
they make it much firmer and handling improves,it depends what you want though? i just got an FK coilover kit its being fitted saturday 13th Aug so i will tell you what its like! its more for cosmetic looks and better braking stability than anything else though! standard vr6`s wobble a bit when you brake hard or corner fast i found!!!! craggsy 91
Had my Koni Coilovers on for a week now and it does make a difference. Like Purple said standard Mk3's wobble round corners....not any more! I'm now thinking ARB's
binliner 0
decent coilovers will transform the looks and handling
seadog 0
do coilovers really improve the ride and handling dramatically over a decent non coilover setup? i`m runnin on top adjustable koni shocks, eibach 30mm springs and eibach ARB`s, fully polybushed all round and also a front strut brace. was thinkin on a set of koni coilovers next but am unsure wether they would justify themselves cauz the handlin and ride are almost faultless at the moment? purple highline monster 0
nothing wrong with your set up either, you just get a bit more flexibility with a coilover set up due to the amount of adjustments you can make, height damping rate etc on a full adj kit like koni or FK konigsport, i put coilovers on my last 2 vw`s as it saved all the trial and error agro with ride/looks/practicality issues and its not much dearer really, i paid

Nerih 0
may i suggest importing them from germany, if the customs are nice, you make a huuge saving, the highsports can be got for 360 inc del & vat. Stealth sells them for 420 or something...which is pretty good.
