volkswag0nvr6 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Report Share Posted July 3, 2005 hi peoplefor the last couple of days my car has been hesertating under load. like the HT leads were breaking up.and last night it cut out.. now it wont start.. it is a mk2 golf with a 2.9 corrado engine in it (the coilpack one)what could it be? badboyV6 4 Posted July 3, 2005 Report Share Posted July 3, 2005 Could be a mulitude of things bud, try hall sender, and check to see if your coilpack is arcing would be 2 things to check. Sounds a lot like the coil pack has given up- test it first - if it is then try Ford for a new one- its a lot cheaper than buying the same part from VW (They used it on the Galaxy VR6) Link to post Share on other sites

mightyvr6 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Report Share Posted July 3, 2005 Pull the leads and make sure each one is sparking. Use a sparkplug in each to test for spark. The hall sender (cam sensor) is right above the coilpack. Link to post Share on other sites
