VR6Pete 1,455 Posted September 26, 2016 Report Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hiya @Goodge123 A long time ago I had a Schrick BVH, 268 cams - I did have it mapped - engine was pushing 221BHP, but was getting some slight valve spring bounce high up the rev range. I had purchased the Schimmel heavy duty valve springs and titanium retainers but sadly never got around to fitting them, I know many folk who use the schimmel hardware and swear buy it. As you are only in Banbury, you could pop into Stealth Racing and speak to Vince for his opinion, you may not need them, but if you are doing a general head overhaul and planning on more power in the future may be a sensible approach to get the springs etc..
