Cooz93 66
After many weeks/months of neglecting the project, I've decided to pull my finger out Unfortunately my lock up doesn't have power so I need some form of portable light set up. Using a generator isn't an option due to not having one and will be a bit loud as it's in a residential area. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to get some decent lighting, running of a battery or something similar? Cheers

Cooz93 66
I have a led floodlight which is pretty good. But it gets very dark in the garage after around 7 so would like if I could illuminate the whole thing!
Mk3highline 287
How about a led strip light like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/131080941228 Or if you have a spare car battery get strips of led lights around top of garage http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/251582401198
Cooz93 66
I like the idea of the led strip lights. Would it be easy enough to hook up to a car battery? One lead to negative one to positive? Electricity scares me
B4VR6 193
As simple as that. There only 12v won't do any damage and won't shock you either. Just make sure the wires are not just wrapped round the terminals. Use some clamps so your still able to disconnect them. Edited September 23, 2015 by B4VR6
