Mazinyho 0
hey, all.... im new to this site but truely a vr6 lover and appreciator, really need any input as to what my problem could be....... I have a vr6 2.9 fitted in my cabriolet, ive always experienced a sluggish type of behaviour on my car, recently changed spark plugs, plugs leads, temp. sensor, fuel filter, new 4bar FPR and my car was running perfect.... I installed a mk3 fuel pump(not vr6) and when I start up shes running fine for about 10-20 mins then it feels as if she's slowly being starved of fuel and eventually cuts out and dusnt start again untill I leave the car for a good couple of mins...... thanx in advance<br/>
vr6turbo 27
Had the same problem along time agothere may be some crap in the tankwhen the pump starts up it gets sucked on to the fuel pump strainer which blocks the pumpwhen the pump stops the crap falls back from the strainer into the recess in the tank so the cycle begins take the pump out and have a look with a torch into the tankwithout a fag in your gob if you smoke or the pump is not suitable and is overloaded
Big J 283
The pump isn't suitable. They are a different pump for a Vr6 due to increased flow requirements. VR6Pete
