hello all vr6 ers, when i bought my vr6 about 1 month ago i was looking forward to some seriuos fun! little did i know i had taken on a project!!!

1.new thermostat housing

2.new air filter and induction kit

3.new air mass meter

4.new catalytic converter

5.new spark plugs

6.oil change and filter

7.new fuel pump and fuel filter

8.new battery

9.flooding problem, new sensors (£200 labour)

10.vag com and checks (£80 labour)

11.shed loads of petrol having heart stopping fun!!!!!!

12.still to do : new springs,new magnecor leads,trolley dents from careless fuckers at sainsbury's.

please tell me this is a familiar story!!!!

still undetered, am looking forward to owning many more in the future...who wants some little upstarter type 'R'

maf ouch!!

sounds like a major service + a fair portion of the things that go but all at once hehe ps if your getting springs how about uprating suspension that way u want need a sailors hat when u drive it lol as for the type r nice cars imo but id never swap the vr

what did vagcom show?
