stockers 1 Posted May 15, 2005 Report Share Posted May 15, 2005 hello all vr6 ers, when i bought my vr6 about 1 month ago i was looking forward to some seriuos fun! little did i know i had taken on a project!!!1.new thermostat housing2.new air filter and induction kit3.new air mass meter4.new catalytic converter5.new spark plugs6.oil change and filter7.new fuel pump and fuel filter8.new battery9.flooding problem, new sensors (£200 labour)10.vag com and checks (£80 labour)11.shed loads of petrol having heart stopping fun!!!!!!12.still to do : new springs,new magnecor leads,trolley dents from careless fuckers at sainsbury's.please tell me this is a familiar story!!!!still undetered, am looking forward to owning many more in the future...who wants some little upstarter type 'R'long live the vr6!!!!!!! Eat this 2 Posted May 15, 2005 Report Share Posted May 15, 2005 maf ouch!!sounds like a major service + a fair portion of the things that go but all at once hehe ps if your getting springs how about uprating suspension that way u want need a sailors hat when u drive it lol as for the type r nice cars imo but id never swap the vr what did vagcom show?
