vr6guy 29
Hi guys. Friend of mine is having trouble with his electric windows. You can make all windows go down using buttons on door but they wont go back up on the button. But when using total closure using the key fob they all go back up again.I thought maybe relay or bad earth? Hope to get some feedback on this
palmer 17
Id say the button was knackered if it goes down but not up Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Edited December 2, 2013 by palmer VR6Pete
RsvRob 6
Relay or earth would mean they don't go up no matter what you do as its part of the same circuit. Your just using an alternative switch. Sent from Dagobah

VR6Pete 1,455
That's a new one on me! I've had it where I've been able send the window up and then it goes down on its own accord. Does it have a factory fitted alarm / imob or an aftermarket? Club Chairman
vr6guy 29
Yeh thats because the sliders need greasing because window gets a bit stiff so window goes back down as a safety precausion ( eg someone leans through window) It has a after market one yeh... Not sure that would affect it?
Lukey. 381
If they start to go up then stop and go back down then yea. It could also be the cable has come off its rails I the reel and wound itself around itself.
