paceo 22
im scrapping the charger idea as the car was a dog. as title, my car is a 0BD1 vr6 1992. i may have the opportunity to buy a rotton ODB2 turbo golf vr6 thats rotton, mapped by stealth racing. would it just be a straight swap into my OBD1 vr6? engine, OBD2 loom into fusebox and mapped ecu? simple as that? also the gearbox in knackered. so would my standard gearbox handle 300.6bhp? uprated clutch needed maybe?? michael5556 247
Yeah it should be as long as you swap everything, loom, ecu, fuse boxes are the Same so don't do that. I'm selling a twin plate helix clutch if your interested.

CALICO 130
Standard gearbox is good for upto about 400 but it depends how you drive and how its mapped big boost coming in strong can eat the gearbox as per Tony Walter and Jim Potter.
