Geastb 0
I've got the complete 312mm set-up off an Audi TT (I assume this will fit!?) can anyone who has done this conversion tell me what size spacer i need to get the caliper to clear correctly?I assume the calipers are the same as the 288mm calipers on later spec VRs?Any help appreciated! antera309 3
I just found S1MMA's thread on CGTI:http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=33295&KW=312mmIt looks like spacers ARE required, but dimensions are not provided in this thread and there's no mention of where to get them ready-made.His thread shows them fitted under 16" rims, although the caliper had to be ground down a little in order for it to fit. VRmonster 1
i think its only around a 4/5 mm spacer, and could get away with fitting some thick washers. but id rather have some spacers made to suit. was thinking about going this route but ive just got brand new 280mm calipers so would be pissed off getting 2nd hand 288s, lol.
