DISTRIBUTOR OR COILPACK ?"i dont know enough about the car to answer so was wondering if someone else could for me???the reg for the car is m145scj, its a mk3 5dr golf VR6 Link to post Share on other sites
ssaunders 199 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 Hi Mate, by reg its an ODB1. easiest way is pop the bonnet and follow the spark plug leads, if they attach to round plastic dome (distributor) its ODB1 if they attach to an oblong block (coilpack) then its ODB2.also i think there is a thread on here on how to tell the differencehope this helpsSteve Link to post Share on other sites
