im currently trying to sell the VR6 to make room for my new project and someone has asked "IS ENGINE OBD1 OR 2 ? DISTRIBUTOR OR COILPACK ?" i dont know enough about the car to answer so was wondering if someone else could for me??? the reg for the car is m145scj, its a mk3 5dr golf VR6

no just the seats, i have the mk3 vr6 already but i quite like the look of the mk2, but the mk3 has full leather interior, so want to know if i can squeeze them into a mk2 and wether i need to get a 5dr or can i get away with putting them in a 3dr

Long story short, I'm new to owning a vr6. Previously owned an Audi A3 1.8T which was remapped to 210bhp, I must say that having a turbo was fun, and as it was only my second car it felt quick enough. But now I'm trying to decided whether with the vr6 I'm going to focus on power or stance. I like having the power, but again without any modifications power isn't exactly something the 2.8 lacks at all, so I'm thinking, getting it to at least 200bhp and leaving at that. if i was to put it in for an mot, would they pick up on all these areas and be able to give a price as to how much it will cost to sort?

just about to buy a golf vr6 with no mot or tax. previous owner has said that the vehicle hasnt had either since november 2011 but has started it and ran it often since. he has said the when he took it for its last service before taking it off the road the garage told him that there was a lot of rusting underneath, but didnt specify where from. so he didnt bother putting it throught the mot. i was just wondering if anything else has had similiar situations with rust, and if so how much it cost to put right?
