vr6freak 3
How much did that lot cost ?
vr6freak 3
another quick question. Couldn't you have used a remote servo ? i remember I had one on my escort mk1 back in the day.
VRmonster 1
cost about £2000 for the lot, but was a right ball ache to fit on to rhd. i did use a remote servo. hence the whole weld a plate onto the old servo position situation. lol. just didnt get a pic of it. wont have to do that next time round as im going to get a new downpipe made up and have the turbo the other wat round. much easier. VRmonster 1
cheers man, i think it used to sound better without the turbo, but i may just be listening to the car differently as i can hear the hiss from the turbo. lol. will have a lot more pictures and videos once i have it rebuilt. just got myself another jigsaw piece to my vr6 puzzle. dubloke 4
kewl dude! looks like all the hard work is starting to pay off, despite the conversion being a pain in the arse by the sound!
VRmonster 1
its defianetly paying off in the grin factor, but realy anxious to get it rebuilt and tuned. going to redesign the setup a little when dropping it into the cab, so i dont get the headaches, lol as well as a full intercooler setup to up the boost.. just hope powerflow can do me a custom downpipe using bits from my old one.
