Idea's for a driving break?

Recommended Posts

Apart from the obvious but awesome Nurburg Ring and closer to home Buttercup pass, any idea's for a driving holiday or short break?

Maps, pictures, routes or reviews would be good. Even if never visited but on your "wish list" I'd be interested to hear about it.

Ireland with out a doubt. People are nice, its easy to find cheap and nice places to stay. the scenery is breath taking, the roads are awesome, there is no speed cameras and few police. You can go from extremely busy Dublin to scenic connemara in under 2 hours. It will always remain in the top 5 places that I have visited, and I've been to a fair few.
