cornishvr6 52
Just some help/advice needed please, My 1992 vr was running std 280mm front brakes until i upgraded to the later spec 288mm setup and redstuff pads, The wear indicator on the pads didnt fit the connection on the car so the dash light has always been on, Im now upgrading to 312's if i can squeeze them behind my 16's, Is there a pad that will have the correct wear indicator to suit or am i still stuck with the light on?For some reason it has never been addressed at mot time, Any help would be awesome

CALICO 130
Just remove the bulb from the dashboard its not an mot failure but soon if you have a warning light on the dash illuminated it will be a failure.

If not i will take it out
paceo 22
snap im having a similar problem as ive got a 280mm car! looked at some 312mm pads and the connector was a sqaure shape going into a oval shape where as the connector on my 280mm car is an oval shape.an idea i think is to cut the connector off my 280mm pads and re-wire them onto my 312mm pads. job done hopefully.
