acf8181 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Report Share Posted March 11, 2004 i haven't had a chance to try this myslef yet, but thought you may be interested...page 1page 2page 3page 4page 5i've only scan read it so don't ask me any questions. but remeber these two things...this is only for obd1 (upto end of '95) cars...don't try it on an obd2 car, even if it has the same connector, and don't get it wrong on obd1 as it will screw your ecu.[ Edited ] Link to post Share on other sites

jcorallo 0 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 I did try this when I first got my Bentley book, but then discovered that my car doesnt have a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) - turns out that UK OBD1 cars dont have them as far as I can see???Jules Link to post Share on other sites

FishWick 21 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 That's the trouble with Bentley....it's American and their cars are different, way different in some aspects. They have a 'Stop light' which they call a CEL. It's basically the same as our ABS warning light, but for the ECU, so alerts you to there being a problem.
