rsweeney 40
how do you bleed this properly as i have just replaced it?
cbmotorsport 0
fill the resevoir up, have a friend pump the pedal lots of times, get them to hold it down whilst you open the bleed nipple, close it back up, have them keep pumping a few times, hold it down, undo bleed niple and repeat until clutch pedal feels good
rsweeney 40
thanks do i need an easy bleed kit or just a tube and bottle ?
bungy 2
thanks do i need an easy bleed kit or just a tube and bottle ? Depends on if you are doing it on your own or not. If you can get a helper then no need.
cbmotorsport 0
as bungy said, if youve got a friend, then just use pipe and a bottle so you dont make a mess. from experience, those easy bleed kits are a PITA for doing clutches
p0u1 14
i used a bleed kit and i cant have anything bad to say about it, made the job easy and i had no problems with the clutch.oh i went off my tire that wasn't at the recommended pressure lol as the pump source probs about 33psi not 15psi or whatever they tell you is t5he maximum pressure the kit can take and i had a nice long bit of tube to put over the blead nipple into a old milk bottle it was rather tidy and didn't need to worried about the person pumping the pedal at the wrong time and getting air in the system.
