Udi Siag 0 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 Hello mates A friend of mine want to sell his gearbox with all the parts needed for transferring from auto to manual.the only problem is the gearbox is for Vento 1998 1.8 , not for vr6 which is 2.8i have some questions !1. does it fit ?2. does it have the power ? 3. am i going to lose power at high rpm?4. does it worth it ? VR6Pete 1,455 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 Your best convering from auto to a manual gearbox using a VR6 gearbox... if you want to twiddle with gear ratios, then 3.68 crown wheel is what you need from a G60...I beleive there are a few threads on here if you search for convering auto to manual...
