Mastiff 0
Anyone else found that their VR revs high at 70mph? Mine sits just under 3,500rpm @ 70mph and due to her having a full s/s exhaust without Cat she really sounds like she needs a 6th gear! Also my speedo is spot on (First for once out of my hot hatches I have owned!) If I am doing 80mph by the speedo the GPS reads 80mph.....Most happy! It goes out only by a touch at faster speeds (Private road!)
J5KE F 0
What size wheels are u rollin on? I found that the larger the wheels the more accurate the speedo. StandardRims would lower actual (gps) speed by around 5-10% and that difference would increase with higher speeds..?
Mastiff 0
Rollin' on the standard 15" rims bud with 205/50/15 tyres.I am desperate for another set of rims as I think that is what is ley car down as in looks.....They are the slightly rare version being the BBS Solitudes. I keeps thinking about selling them then I think again and keep them!As for the 6 speed....Anyone else agree that a VR6 would benefit from a 6th gear?
Ian_rogers 0
I agree vrs would be awesome with a 6th gear!
Lukey. 381
i found the same thing with gps, but thought it was the slightly larger rolling radius of my 205/40/17s, as most cars are about 4mph over your true speed
