HT leads

I need a set of HT leads as the old standard ones have been on the car for what looks like ages. Ive come across a set of larger performance (non standard) ones which are off an OBD2, assuming this is of a coilpack model, while mine is a dizzy OBD1 will there be any interference?

Coilpack has 6 HT plug ports.

Does the dizzy have 7?, 6 around the outer edge and 1 in the middle?

I think it may well do, yes noticed that the other day. So im assuming ill need a set of dizzy HT leads with an extra one for the coil. Also While on the subject, my dizzy is all red, and it seems the earth cable isnt connected, am i missing a black metal cap?

hey mate,

i bought some genuine leads about a month ago for my OBD2.

The kit came with 7 leads. 6 red and one black for the dizzy cap models.

Since i dont need the black one and it is brand new, you can have that if you want?????

Cheers for the offer mate but im in need of a full set of leads which will more than likely come with the 7th all in but again cheers for the offer. And was looking at the dubpower leads do seem cheap but the website is a bit uninspiring, feel a bit like im about to be robbed tbh. Had any first hand experience with the website?

Actually, That says quite a lot. If your coilpack model HT leads came with a 7th for the dizzy models, while my 7th is fully functioning, could get away with buying some OBD2 leads?

if you buy a set and you only get 6 leads then pm me your address and i will post it on. i will be bining it soon otherwise.
