As you say, just bash out the internals with a hefty pry bar or something.The empty cat shell actually makes for a nice expansion chamber, so it might feel a little perkier down low.No it won't through any fault codes. ollie_ 0 Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 Interesting I got hold of another cat to do this with, and spent a whole day trying to smash the stuff out of the middle. Even poured thinners in and set it on fire, and that didn't work haha! It seemed to be like a tight roll of metal sheet lol! Anyway, ended up doing this instead:Just need to add a length of 2.25" pipe to it and boom! Didn't have to pay anything I'm such a cheapskate. Link to post Share on other sites
