vento people

I'm after an original vento front spoiler,you know the one, not vr6 and not gti, totaly smooth, if anybodys got one laying around or if you know the part number that would be good.

went to VW's today and what a waste of time they are,they said it want fit on a mk3 golf....go figer

ok, there are a few types,

one does not have any notes (looks like a cl one):

- 1H6 805 904 right

- 1H6 805 903 left

one says gt, gti (deeper like a vr6 without the recess):

- 1H6 805 904 right

- 1H6 805 903 left

am i right in thinking you want one the same as the vr6, but without the daft recess along the top. (gti one)

the vento one wont fit the golf bumper, the bumpers are different . if you look the lower air holes below fogs are bigger on vento, thats why there is 2 different part numbers and why pattern golf spliters dont fit on ventos.

The red golf in the first picture has a US spec bumper which is bigger - that's presumably how it was fitted. I'm sure you could trim a Vento spoiler down to fit a Golf bumper though, with a bit of ingenuity!

does this mean that a vento bumper wont fit onto a golf either? or, on the other hand, if you have the bumper, the spoiler will fit,lol!
