bungy 2
I'm looking to change the fluid in my brakes on my 4mo and wondered if anyone had any tips? I've got a pressure bleeding system but a little unsure and like to check before I start. Do I just pressurize and bleed at each wheel?
spadam 7
Is this the easy bleed kit if so yes just conect to spare wheel and bleed each corner in turn. Did this with Paul and put about 2 bottles through to flush it all through.
bungy 2
Yeah, i've got the easibleed kit and going by the Bentley manual i've got the newer brake setup. I just wondered if there was anything else to consider.
spadam 7
I think u just need to make sure u don't run the bottle dry thus letting air enter the system. Also don't overpressurise the spare tyre as the bottle goes pop lol.
b road blaster 0
i cheated and got vw to do mine lol lol lol but yes if you have a easybleed kit then do as you have said just make sure you keep the bottle topped up and at worst you got vag-com to bleed the pump if need be

UnitedMotorsport 55
No need for an easy bleed, use VAG COM bleeding process - Here This saves potentially hurting your ABS unit and master cylinder. It depends how deep of a flush you want to do, as to how far you go.I would suck out all the old fluid from the reservoir and fill with new fluid.I would then follow the VAG COM bleeding process.I would then open the bleed nipple on each calliper and push the piston back, expelling the fluid held in the cavity out of the nipple. Then do the nipple up.I would then bleed the clutch.During doing this check to make sure the reservoir doesn't get low at any point.
