Lukey. 381 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 yep....though i might try 15w40w with my charger ' date=' find the synta goes a bit thin after about 3 months with the charger using it to.....[/quote']if you are concerned about it being thinner than you want while running wouldnt you want to change the oil to 10w50 which would be another grade thicker at operating temps but still the same at cold start temps? 15w40 will be the same viscocity at operating temps and will be thicker when cold which would be less cold start protection.
