HAMMER_VR6 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 Standard vr6 steering wheels are butt ugly.I've currently got a momo wheel installed but sometimes woory about safety, because from removing the steering wheel neither driver or passenger airbag will work!!So my question is will a smart Audi or VW wheel fit onto a vr6 Hub?Will it link into the airbag safety system?Also if it had audio controls, could these be wired in?? Rustyman 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 Personally Don't mess with the wiring for the airbags ... prev experience says NOooooo..But as for Audi controls it can be done but prob a pig of a job...As for Audi steering wheels you will find pretty much most VAG cars steering wheels will fit If the hub lines up... that's AUDI VW Porsche Skoda SEAT etc...
