VR6Pete 1,455
Dont worry. It's smiles per gallon mate! You don't drive a vr6 to be worried about MPG!

VR6Pete 1,455
You will notice a difference with a remap on a schrick :£
*P3nfold* 0
I am thinking about getting a chip from matt @ c2motorsport. Just convincing myself it's good value and the benefits. What MPG are you getting with your mods?
FishWick 21
Dont worry. It's smiles per gallon mate! You don't drive a vr6 to be worried about MPG!Indeed :-)I was averaging about 24mpg with my Schrick, 268s etc. Mainly because the mapping needs more fuel in the midrange to compensate for the runner tuning and to reduce pinking and also the 268s give you more top end, so you tend to go up there more often than usual :-)Interestingly, my VRT averages 27mpg and it has nearly twice the power and torque :-)
*P3nfold* 0
Thanks Kev.Interesting, I am thinking of removing the decat! Though the VR sounds awesome with it but the excess smell of fumes is putting me off.Never know I might get 2 mpg etc..lol.
Rsjvr6 1
So Kev, the moral of the story is get a turbo lol...I was also looking at the NA route but if FI gives better mileage... then bring on the power.....
craggsy 91
I get about the same as Kev with mine.............tho its been a while since i drove it so not 100% deffo lol
