Miss-Vw 2 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 Some of you might remember my panic thread I made last year about being caught speeding on the M4, well I finally heard back from the courts just before christmas! I pleaded guilty by post and recieved 6 points and a £250 fine. This was for doing 97mph in a restricted 50mph zone. I think I got off pretty lightly to be fair, as I was expecting a ban for at least a few weeks.Should be fun come november when my insurance renewal is due! Miss-Vw 2 Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 Yeah, although Im not trying to justify the speed I was doing - it seemed odd that at 5am on a sunday morning with no traffic about, that a 50mph speed limit would be in force? The cars that did pass me definitley were not doing 50mph. I wasnt in the VR either, I was in a brand new Ford hire car which seemed to reach 97mph quite quickly and very quietly :-PAh well, had to happen some time I guess! Link to post Share on other sites
