Udi Siag 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 Is there a VW following where you are and what is it like for getting tuning items and spares?yes u can find all parts for VW, used or new , from the company or normal store.( origianl OR china ) You can tune it as much as u want , u can find the stuff so easily. but the police will take ur car papers and make u remove everything that u put on ur car . then u can drive it again . for example the rims , i had 17'' , i can't get it pass the every year test , i have to put what's wrote in the tires and rims book. i had a remus exhaust , i had to remove it and put the VW original exhaust . to pass the every year test.. you would say , it's not a big deal , u can remove it and replace it every year ... and i'll answer you , hell no , if any police officer stoped u and he see the remus or tires size not match , he'll take the car papers and tell u to replace it to the original and come back to the station , he'll check it , and if everything is ok ,then u can take ur papers back... and drive home.by theway , there's a different kind of police for safty cars on the road these cops can drive ur car!!!! , he can go under the car and check it , he just can do whatever it takes to see if ur car is safty and ORIGINAL parts without any tunning, he can look under the hood and start fu**** around...however u can see guys that don't give a sh** about cops , they do what they want , but they'll get tickets and keep removing parts and get it back . witch is not a good deal . can u believe that the only car in the world that u can modify the exhaust system here in Israel is the (subaru impreza turbo)so this is how to have a car in israel .
