bjd 0 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 hi allI ve got a z engineering supercharger fitted to my vr6 highlinethere is a non return valve (NRV) fitted to the the vacuum pipe between the inlet manifold and the charcoal cannister.Does anyone know where i could get a replacement today if poss..ns racing, stealth, etc all have nil stock.any help would be appreciated. bjd 0 Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 I've been to vw, they dont recognise it.I spoke to Raj @ns racing he told me he has to get them from the States, and it would be about a week.The problem is the car goes in friday for a diognostic check and they haven' got one either Link to post Share on other sites

bjd 0 Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 your confused we been tryin to sort this for a few days now, this valve is one of the parts of the supercharger kit. i've spoken to a few vw dealers now and non of them recognise this as a oe part. mightyvr6 0 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 You can run without it if you take the pcv valve off and block off the vaccum line to the neck of the intake manifold. I haven't got one on mine as I've removed the carbon canister and pcv valve and it runs fine. Link to post Share on other sites

VRmonster 1 Posted February 3, 2005 Report Share Posted February 3, 2005 yeah, i got one in my Turbo kit. its to stop high pressure from boost leaking into the canister and forcing petrol fumes back to the fuel tank yet still allows fuel vapors to pass under vacuum to keep the engine idling correctly. its not the control valve in all vr6's its just a basic high pressure non return valve.
