My MKII-VR6 on going project

Ok I'm not great at writing these things so here's a spec list and then pictures:

So my car is 1990 G plate Golf GTI MKII. Its been treated to a recentfull spray including all door shuts and panels. It has been completelycolour coded and had the tailgate smoothed along with the bumpers completely wax oiled throughout and underneath and behind all panels and chip guarded underneath aswell

The spec is:

MKIII VR6 lump

MKIII VR6 gearbox

Clutch conversion

K&N air filter

Full stainless steel exhaust system

Magnecor 8.5MM leads

VR6 brakes and calipers front and rear (Purple coloured)

5 stud conversion

KW coilovers

17" Team dynamic glossed black wheels with purple detailing

Front end full Hella lights with purple angel eye rings

Smoked indicators

Glossed light surrounds

Glossed de-badged grille

G60 Style Rear Lights

Light Tint On Windows

Smoked side repeaters

Smoothed tailgate (Going Back To Standard as we speak)

Number plate moved to bottom of bumper

All bumpers smoothed

Grille drivers Wing

Full bare metal recent re-spray

Central acrylic cut out in bonnet

Aerocatch carbon fibre bonnet pins

Full re-spray engine bay and wax oiled.

Glossed Black miror painted underside of bonnet

Colour coded engine bay

Full purple samco hoses

Stainless bits through out engine

Full leather interior

Complete roof lining overhall in black felt standard lines

Pillars and boot lining also finished in black felt

New Carpet throughout

VR6 clocks and dash parts

Prob Alot i have missed out there. But comments welcome may not be too everyone's taste but it hasn't a mark on it inside or out.

Great car matey! love the bay being on show. keep up the good work! looking forward to seeing ur future plans :)

Cheers mate the bonnet was just abit of fun but ended up turning into an expense lol so it will stay for awhile.

Plans.

OEM bootlid back on next month

16V rear lights

Alacantra purple middles on the seats or porsche tombstones front seats

Standard single lamp grille

More lows

Better stance

New Rims

Would like to flock the dash

Then hopefully a charger but awhile away for that maybe 2012

Mmmm mixed reviews some I think most people liked it apart from the bootlid which i too hate and wish i never done but it is being changed next month,

Bonnet was split some hate some loved

In general i think alot of purisits dont like the colour coding really and prefer a more oem look but I understand that. To be fair that is what a MKII is about the split bumper colour and the trim seperating the lines of the car.

I just tried to be a bit different and keep it oem style wise (aprart from bonnet) everything is pretty much VAG
