oldmandon 1
Hi all,I'm wanting to change my exhaust very soon as mine is blowing, plus I've got a 6 branch manifold in the boot waiting to be fitted!!!!! Question is the standard exhaust has 3 silencers, but most aftermarket exhausts have 2 silencers. Any ideas why? what benefits and which would be better? is it possible to get a 3 silencer aftermarket system, then the big question, de-cat or sport-cat, would there be a performance advantage in either??!!As usual All commens/help welcomed
bungy 2
You will notice increased throttle response from a de-cat and also from a sports cat but not as much. You can have an exhaust taylor made to your car with as many silencers as you want in varying pipe diameters. Matt from United Motorsport fabricates exhausts.
spadam 7
You can buy a 3 box system from jetex. Personally id go for a 2 box performance system.

Ben Seabrook 4
buy a jetex mate best system out there for a vr unless you have one fabricated - de-cat or sports cat arent worth it and you wont notice any difference on a n/a car waste of cash
