bonnet catch

well how can i get my bonnet up when my bonnet cable has snaped :-s

Use a screw driver you can do it I did it once on a Mk3. First pull off the top grill trim to get a look at it the trim is just pushed in at the top and has retaining tangs under the 2 front lights. You'll need a nail file to push this under to push down the tangs and it should all come off. Then you can get to the bonnet catch assembly. Use a scredriver to lever the catch arm over.

If u can get the grill off u can undo the two main bolts and the one small one that holds the mechanism to the car, u can then lift the bonnet complete with the latch
