i unexpectingly found today that the automatic gearbox oil cooler is clogged up with half a ton of stuff ( possably radweld from previous owner.) Unfortunatly it is a sealed unit how do i go about removing the clooged up stuff as it isnt rockhard its almost like wet sand . here is a pic of the cooler

no temp sensor , i have hooked mine up to the charge cooler return

so water flows from tank in boot to charge cooler > passes through charge cooler then directed to gearbox cooler then through mini rad then back to tank in boot

the temp from the charge cooler should keep the gearbox at a nice level , you dont want to cold as it will damage and you dont want to hot either

i am running 300bhp through the standard auto box and so far so good 2 years later no issues...touch wood...lol....

i got a 12 litre tank in boot for charge cooler set up
