2 problems my car has, help please?

1) Starts fine cold, but when hot, takes a lot of turning over to start.

2)This one is worse when cold, on throttle up to around 2k revs, a droning noise is heard like a vibration, and is worse when i let off throttle and let the revs come down.

Car runs well overall, has minor oil leak looks like from the cooler or oil switch.

first one will be the starter motor mate I would think as that is what mine was doing !

what do you mean by a droning noise ? does the cabin vibrate ?

Nothing savage, but can sort of feel it through the floor, on tickover u can sort of here it too, when cold, the left hand side of engine when you look at the engine with the bonnet up stood in front of the car, belt side

1st one could be coil related breaking down when hot.

wouldnt have thought the coil as that would effect the running too not just the starting ??

hmmm noise sounds strange - could try and get a sound clip mate on your phone ? otherwise if its that side of the engine check the tension in the belt

well i have got a meet this weekend so hopefully someone can tell me then maybe. Just hoping its not too bad, i will get another engine soon to rebuild anyway, horses is what i need
