*P3nfold* 0
Just wondering if anyone has pictures of the location of there gauges.I am not sure whether to put them on the pillar or the dash?
Lukey. 381
This is how i did mine, and if i ever require more gauges ill simply extend either down or across. I did it this way as it almost looks like it was put there by the factory. I got the inspiration from the corrado and old audi coupe gauges. Obviously its a little bit more work than just putting a panel somewhere, not much and not difficult though.

Timah89 1
problem with that one is that is pushes each VDO back, may make the visibility a bit hard!

Right then I need to find a Piller Gauge Holder!!
Rustyman 0
It was a bastard to get it to hug the plastic pillar though took 3 attempts and some black self tapping screws
*P3nfold* 0
Arse, I guess is going to be the dash then. I am not totally convinced on the cubby holder and stereo location idea as I want to see the gauges and listen to some sounds while driving
Rustyman 0
all i could suggest is that you get the piller pod fix it with screws temporarily then fiberglass and cover the entire pillar in material faux black leather or another material ????
*P3nfold* 0
That sounds like hard work, I am not good a stuff like that. I found some holders on eBay but the most important ones are the AFR gauge so I can see the mixture and the boost.I was looking at thishttp://www.revotec.com/details.asp?ID=17http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Universal-52mm-Triple-Gauge-Plastic-Holder-CARBON-/170453036873?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27afcaef49
Rustyman 0
What ever your happyest doinbg mate... if your not good at the hands on stuff buy ready made stuff.. Perosnally those types i don't like but that's what makes it great in the VR6 Club everyones different ...Could you not look at mounting behind steering wheel ? i've seen a plastic replacement for the steering column ...
