I have a set of 17" porsche twists.. fronts are 7in and rears are 8.5in. I will be fitting 195/40 on the fronts so shouldnt have a problem with rubbing as i have had the arches rolled and the pcd adaptors are 20mm. However i am after any advice on the rears, i will be fitting 225/35 tyres and hopefully the rolled arches will be enough to stop rubbing on the outside but can anybody shed any light on weather 20mm will push the 8.5in rim out enough to clear my coilovers.. as there isnt a great deal of clearance between the inside of tyre and the spring of the coilovers as it is with standard wheels..and obv the offsets are differnt too.

go for a 195/40 or a 205/40 on the back instead of a 225/35.

Try and get falkens as they stretch really well nd have a smaller side wall. Im runing 195/40s on a 8J and maybe on a 9 if I get bigger barrels.

Its all down to Offset. Porsche wheels generally have a high offset between 50-60.

How are you wanting the wheels to sit?

Im running ET20 and ET10 but my wheels are 8J.
