VR6Nat 9 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Share Posted September 30, 2010 just request an amount that you want to agree, they will ask for a list of mods and 6 pics of the car then you get a certificate... but i have gone down the 'modified policy' route..this is where you list every single modification on the car (including make and model where applicable) then if your car gets written off you get the money for the car as std, then you find out how much it is to replace every modification listed and they will pay out for that too so you can fully rebuild your car.even if it had a 10 grand custom paint job they would have to pay for that too... worth considering both options if cost varies a lot.
