ok, i got my car started after it being toyed with for so long. everything seems to be working fine appart from a vacuum leak where i removed the servo.

after running the car for a few minutes and after the smoke from the exhaust cleared (i think i topped the oil up a lil too much) i noticed there was actually smoke coming from the back of the engine, i suspected cyl head problems, maybe sucking oil into the cylinders somewhere. i also have the milky goo under my oil cap but havent driven the car enough to check if im losing coolant. the thing is, the oil was left overnight in a bucket covered with cling film before being put back into the engine. so may have just got a little bit of moisture in there maybe?

any suggestions taken as i havent had chance to check the car yet but want to go fully armed with ideas when i do this week.

thanks

i reused the oil as ive had the pan off and been tinkering inside the engine for weeks, so i thought use crappy oil for a little while to clean it out, then change it once its run in.

also, i have disturbed the manifold quite a bit, ie: remoed and replaced it with a much needed turbo manifold. lol. the smoking seems to be dissapating now anyway, maybe just because of all the new parts and spilt oil all over the place. lol. cheers anyway.
