MITCHMK3 0 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Share Posted August 18, 2010 HEY GUYS IM NEW TO VR6OC SO PLEASE BE KIND LOL Ok so it goes a bit like this after being away from the vw scene for over two years it was defo time to get back on it i wanted another mk3 but couldnt decide which one i had my eye on a 16v which was a absolutely lovely car but the only down side was it had sky high mileage and then his little beauty turned up almost on my doorstep !!!!specs are :full service history with 12 stampsair con12 months test1 month tax113kprice 1400heres what she looked like on day oneThat was the very first day i got her home and on closer inspection she needed a few things doing firstly :the rear o/s light had a crack , the front grill had so many stone chips , number plates were horrid and the paintwork was quite dull shes still not perfect there is a nasty scratch down the rear n/s door and a bit of side skirt trim missing the headlight has a chip in it other that that shes a beauty so today i spent 5 hours washing claying polishing waxing and fitting a few items and i ended up with this so i hope you all like things coming soon are :new wheels maybe tt comps ??LOWERING ASAP exhaust change headlight and fogs any suggestions ???? Looking good so far mate!! :) As for mods its kinda a personal preference thing, just fix up all the little bits and get her lowered, then look about at various build threads and pick bits n pieces you like from each and go from there, its always good to start with the small things and you'll naturally find a way you want to go with it. You gonna be popping along to any shows next year? they're great fun and there's a great bunch of people on here to mix with n have a laugh! :) Link to post Share on other sites

Basically the other day a load of cars have been vandalised in my area and they attempted to break into this one they nicked the front grille and tried to nick the wheels and as I have no where safe to park it until I move in three months time its got to go .
