ok ive seen some pics and i was wondering about the grill coz when i pick up my car i want to take the vw badge off the grill, is this possible or will i need to buy a new grill? if so does any1 know where i can get 1 from? thanks

you need to get a whole new grill.

make sure you get a decent brand, as some of the cheapo ones are poor. FK are prob the best i reckon. i have a bonrath one (as you can see in my pic) and its identical except that mine has 'bonrath' logo on the lower bar, and its a PITA when you wax the car. you can get them in two slat or three slat...mines 3 but i'd get a two slat if i got another (this one was already on car)

JOM do a 2 slat and 3 slat grill and qulaity is ace as I've got one. Mine was dirt cheap as I bought it back form the Essen Motorshow. Look on ebay as there always going on there or contact Performance Solutions, Venom Motorsport, Gwent Vw, Awesome Gti to name a few.

Jom ones are by far the best fit and quality compared to the others. They are even metal as opposed to plastic on the bottom section as per the genuine equip ones.

ive just had a quicklook on ebay and came up with Item number: 794923296 it works out @ just under £18 for a 2 slat grill, venom want £59 for the same thing, am i missing something?

7949232966 is the correct number mate, long as you don't mind ordering from Germany then go for it. Check to see how much it will cost, shouldn't be more than £10-15 as there not heavy items although the box it a good 5-6ft long
