what do you guys think?

When i collected the car these are the lights that were fitted, smoked angel eyes and what i think are smoked anniversary indicators and fogs, i liked them at first but not too sure now and was thinking of maybe getting crystal mk4 style and crystal indicators or leaving the smoked indicators on and getting some joey modded units, whats your opinions?

Personally I prefer standard lights, when I have a golf I brought a new set of standards, but that is just me.

It really is a case of personal preference really, everyone will have a different opinion... i run standard lights and fogs etc cuz i think they look tidy as they are... ive thought about mk4 style as they do look nice, but always end up sticking with standard ones... best bet is just to keep looking at pics of your options and then decide what you like and not what you think everyone else will like. :)

to be honest mate i think you have the best available 1s in your bumper at the moment,i looked everywhere for some of those and never found any,so i ended up with these:S (still got standards tho;)

I personaly prefer crystal chrome lights on black cars but the ones youve got make it look pretty mean.

I think standard looks smarter. The angel eyes look more sporty, I have seen one set that worked really well but the car was well modified, it had a completely different bumper, grill and bonnet. On a standard car, I would go with standard lights (or tinted ones).

Thanks for the opinions/ideas guys,

i may just leave them for now and see how it looks again with a de-badged grill, if i do change i think it will have to be the mk4 style.

i do think the best look for the mk3 is either stock lights or morettes/hella quads. I had proper morettes, which are rare as and very expensive so you dont see many, but swapped them for smoked hella quads and tinted the fogs and indicators myself, after trying to find a gen anni smoked set for months.
