Drizz 0
Well because i was putting a big turbo in my Audi i needed a VR6 MAF as its 3" instead of the 1.8t's 2.5" so went a bit extreme and bought this MOT failure with just this picture and very limited details:So looking at that pic it looked sorry for itself so didnt have a second thought until i got it home and flicked through the full service history, up until 3k ago, and went up the 'private' road to remind myself I owned one 2yrs ago) of the VR6 grin factor and it drove nice. So i had the bit of welding done (normal Mk3 place) and booked it in for test. Flew through with a couple of advisories so taxed it, and washed it and it currently looks like this:So looking pretty well TBH, few odds and sods. Interior was great too And the skanky wheels polished up too So now im sort of stuck with it because i really remember how much i loved my last one. Its still advertised for sale, albeit at a higher price due to the tax etc so if it goes it goes but im not too worried. Problem is i want to lower it as it just looks wrong like that, the front camber looks like its been jacked up! Plus i want the deeper splitter, paint corrected in places, the tinted lights etc etc but dont want to do all that then it goes lolGoing to view RS4's at the weekend too so im in a quandary lolSo here it is.... For now anyway lol

Drizz 0
Right, well the idea was to deck it on porsche cookie cutters. Damo kindly leant me the adaptors to try prior to buying them so heres what happened today.....Firstly i lowered her with springs, not coilies for now as it was stupidly high, but didnt want a harsh ride, so here it is for now, so uch better:Then my mate had some Fusch's that i tried with the adaptors. I know they tyres are for a beetle and not suited but its an indication:Then he also had a 7" cookie cutter so thought id try that as i was going to buy 4 of them. On the back was fine:But on the front, its too small to clear the calipers and has slightly too much poke lol:Also been offered some 16" Cookies which would clear the brakes, but theyre 8" rears and 7" fronts, so no idea if the offset would fit and dont have the luxury of trying them first, so i dont know what to do now. Maybe the 928 rims if i can find some?
jims13 6
nice rims drizz and diffrent, did you buy that mystic blue vr ?

Drizz 0
Tinkered a bit more....Started stripping my spare rear beam:Then used the air powered claw wheel and got all the loose shit off:Then got a coat of hammerite on it:Then reminiscing from my Vauxhall days, and remembering how comfy the Irmscher gear knobs were i bought one:And today wet and dried it back:More soon.... So thats being sorted plus some smoothing I also rubbed down my mirror caps too but didnt bother taking a pic. Got to collect my new front bumper Saturday and ill get that ready for paint too. Really need to find the Kamei vents that i want so the front bumper can get painted!
Drizz 0
So today then i popped to see Si and Paul for a couple of hours and collected a few goodies.Firstly a pair of headrests to fill in the holes:Then some stickers:And also an exhaust So i got back and got it on:Decked:Only because it was jacked up on the back lol. And a pic of it all clean before the ECD meet yesterday:
