Saunders82 0
I was driving golf back from work last week almost out of fuel and it started bucking like it was out of fuel. Got it to a petrol station filled up all was good. It did it again 2 days later with over half a tank full I replaced the fuel filter thinking it's just pull some crap out of the tank when it was low. Again all seemed fine. Last night it done it again!! This time with just under a quarter of a tank in. The only thing that's been in common is that all 3 times the car has been hot. It's definitly not a miss fire it's more like a violent bucking it clears when it goes back to idle. Any ideas??
T0NYVR6 2
Does sound like a fuelling problem maybe a loose connection on the fuel pump or something.
Ben Seabrook 4
have u had the car on vag-com mate ? doesnt sound like a fuel issue to me if its doing it no matter what the level, sounds more like an electrical prob or a dodgy maf maybe

Saunders82 0
They were behind the 2 blanks a White and black 2 pin plugs. But there not wired in also while looking the trim above them with the heater controls in I took the facia off and behind it all the fixings were snapped so had to make a complete bodge on top of the previous bodge to get it back together:( I'm not sure what to do at the minute ideally I need the port wired in but I think most garages won't want to touch it
