What air filters do you 4motion people use. Bmc, carbonio, or just a pannel filter. Guna get a few parts together for my 4motion and wondered weather i shud use my bmc from vr6 or is standard fine. Want to get exhaist decat and remap for time being.

I've got a BMC CDA on mine because I like the sound. I've heard that the standard R32 airbox with a quality free flowing air filter will give improved results but i'm sticking with what i've got. I decatted my own after sourcing a cheap set of second hand cats. It's miles cheaper and gives a good result. Speak to C2 ref a remap. They know their stuff and are really helpfull.

mines just got green cotton panel fillter and non res milltek still got cats fitted as i can't be arsed with the mot hassel

something you might be interested in looking at is a new thing from k&n i thiunk that has a cone inside a replacement airbox.

Think il stick with the bmc thn as allready have one. Yea goin non res miltek and will prob buy some cats and gut them. Will have to get in touch with c2 thn.

bmc. not keen on them, great on a 6poy but deadly if you hit a puddle

Not had a problem with mine on the vr6 better then an open cone as its sheilded. The 4 motions airbox is on opposite side to the mk3 and sits further back so not worried about water getting into it. I may look into the r32 airbox and pannel fillter did hear about this on the r32oc.

ok so devils advocate here but why do things like this they are a dam good car as is save your cash and then do it all in one hit if you decide to go for a s/c on it

yes i done a filter and milltek but thats all i like the car as is

Very true but exhaust will have to be done before supercharger anyway and i allready have BMC. But may keep the standard airbox and just get a miltek non res untill i can go F/I
