vr6stormt 0 Posted May 5, 2010 Report Share Posted May 5, 2010 hi when im changing gear the revs t/response seems to be lazy ie not crisp does anyone have any suggestions ???it sounds like its not springing back quick enough....would it be worth trying/fitting a new return spring on the t/body??? MJ Vr6 79 Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 yeah thats when i notice it most when changing gearMate, Check 1-the pipe that goes to the Cannister as that may have a leak..as Xyber says you may have a Vacum leak..2-Check the throttle itself as the Plastic circular that holds the cable maybe split as seen on a few Vrs..3-Try cleaning it, remove the Intake pipe off the Throttle, check throttle flap for dirt around the area as it may be causing it to close slowly!
