big leak?

not a good start to my golf life lol.....

last night she started leaking water pretty badly coming from i dont know where.

i have topped her up loads of times but what can it be?

the water is also coming out with a tiny bit of oil.

err get it pressure tested mate is ur best bet .....

stick a piece of cardboard underneath it to see if you can see where it is leaking from mate, how quickly is the water coming out ?

it drips out but alot any quicker and it will be pouring it its pretty bad.

wait until the morning to have a good look mate as a hose might have split or something simple like that

where abouts on the floor ??? drivers side passanger side front back ???

its mainly coming from the front bit of the engine more on the drivers side. but i dont know if its running down and driping there or what.

thermostat housing im guessing

could be thermostat housing with the water running down the crack pipe .........

I'm with Ben, either cracked or the o-ring seal has rotted

other possibility on that side of the engine is the heat exchanger, is the coolant looking oily?

nah that bits alright, but where its dripped on the ground its pretty oily

water pump also if drivers side. Any noises coming from that side at bottom of belt.

nah no noises and shes still running fine. well when topped up and tempeture light ent on,

best bet is to check it in the morning matey have a good look all around the thermostat housing and along the crack pipe, its a very common place for them to leak and luckly cheap to fix

whip the grill out and the bumper off so you can see things a bit clearer matey
