Did anyone else see this on channel 4 this morning? a big old mixture of cars including, mk 2 golf, Corado, mkiv R32, mkv R32, Beetle and even a Caddy van. Interesting and close racing too at Oulton Park.

It would have been worth the effort with nice close racing touring car style. Plus watching a rado go up against a mkiv R32 and a caddy thrown in for good measure did look a bit strange but good.

Oh righty. Wish I wasn't at work. I don't have any sports channels either, so the likleyhood of me managing to have saw it listed wouldn't have happened.

To watch Raddos, VR6's, R32's and such in Televised racing would be a good enough reason for me.

see that this morning, the mk5 that went cross country in the first race looked more like a ramp attack than a race course. the rac liveried caddy was brill,

they had everything from 'rado's, jetta's 1.8t's r32's and even a herbie styllee beetle 3.2 rsi. made for some really interesting racing seeing how all the different car's perform against each other

Cracking racing series. The racing is close as the cars have pretty much equal power to weight ratios with cars having more weight added to them the more power they have and with the 4x4 cars (R32's) being penalised with extra weight.

Well worth a watch, probablly best to stick it on Sky+ as it's on a little early for the weekend.
