binliner 0
you could get that sort of power from a supercharger ... You'll also want to upgrade the suspension and maybe brakes would be an idea too

Slim 0
Supercharger will be easier to do and more readily available too.Have a look at this link for more info:http://www.vf-engineering.com/vw_mk3vr6.htm

hudson 0
has any one on here had either turbo or supercharger fitted. just wanted some feedback on which one would be better. they both seem to be around the same price and the same power figures.
JONNOS 0
why not sell the vr6, add the 4 1/2 and save for an imported 911. Not entirely sure why people would spend so much moddíng a car which will still at the end of the day be a vw golf. Save up for a car which is bad ass in the first place. I bought a VR6 cos it is quick and fun for now, I will sell it to buy a late 90s M3 next year or maybe a 2 seater. Your VR6 with 4500gbp improvements is not a good investment whereas approx 10k gbp is a good way towards a nice M3 or porsche. Bear in mind what you could do with that cash, add ons to a VR6 will quickly become worthless

Macca 1
I thought barry boys were the sort of chavs you see racing around in 1.6 Escorts with huge plastic wings stuck on and a big bore exhaust hanging off. Dont know why this thread has prompted that comment tbh!? How much could you get an imported 911 for?[ Edited Fri Jan 07 2005, 04:37PM ]
