will a 30mm drop still rub?

Recommended Posts

hi i've just got myself a highline with 17" rims on 40 profile toyo's if i give it some round the twisties it rubs hideously, i also have the original 15"s but they have the same rolling radius, currently running gt cupline suspension , my question is if i go for sporty shocks with a 30mm drop will i still have clearance probs or should i go back to a standard ride height. i will mainly be a "spirited" road driver with maybe the odd trackday. also where might i buy some new shocks? there's so many options i'm a bit overwhelmed, konis?

cheers buntz

apparently it has a 60mm drop

t'is flippin low

also what width are the tyres as ive had audi alloy srhat cane with 215 40 17s and replaced them with 205 40s with a 40mm drop and got fed up with the ride so gone back to 15s and now droped 80mm bit low as ive just cracked my 3rd splitter so gna go back to a 60mm drop

Fat mates lol.... No it's the 12inch eclosure and gubbings built into the boot that makes it's arse rub.. Or is that a vindaloo on a sat night ?

Not sure what the yoko's width and size is will check ...
